WHAT WE DID

While we hold all of our bespoke builds dear the Runner Series is often our favorite sector and expression of our craft. Like this 1980 International Scout Traveler, our Runner builds feature a Scout that has withstood the test of time. To be considered for this type of build the donor Scout must meet paint, body, and overall condition requirements. This is because the goal of a Runner is to preserve the past and elevate the platform only where it is needed.

This 1980 Runner, we’ve dubbed Winchester, features it’s original paint and decal package from the factory. What we’ve added to the exterior are simply pieces to enhance the usability of this vehicle. The addition of workman front & rear bumpers, a Warn winch, Nomad wheels, all terrain tires, and a Front Runner roof rack are sure to enhance any adventure in this Scout.

Under the hood is where the real magic happens with a Runner. This build features a new 430hp LS3 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission to give the driver modern reliability and power. A proprietary 30 gallon fuel tank and cruise control were added to help extend the possibility of any adventure it’s owner chooses to throw at it.

Lastly, but surely not least, a premium leather interior was designed alongside the owner in a beautiful “Winchester” color. This new leather paired with an accenting textile truly transforms the driving experience beyond the mechanicals. No corners were cut in the cab as the third row seat was added as well as a custom rear seat air conditioning system to ensure optimal comfort for all who may be along for the ride.
