’69 Copper Mountain

We traveled to central Texas with our friend Billy and found a group of trucks from a Scout collector. He had assembled a collection of clean and original trucks. But like most, he had not had the time to finish them or give them much attention. So they sat in not running condition for many years. This was perfect for our “Runner” series vision! We made a deal and on a transport truck they went. This Scout had extensive “farmer” fab custom additions: bumpers, tow bar, and other 1/2″ thick plate overkill accessories. We had to lovingly undo all of that and bring it back to a stock and clean appearance. Overall, it is an amazing Scout that gives one the opportunity to touch and see paint that is 50 years old! Copper Mountain is the modern miners eureka moment.
