LII–Sixteen represents the sixteenth chapter in our Legend Series restoration class, a collection of bespoke International Scout II restorations built to honor the heritage of the original Scout platform, all while adding modern day amenities. Our Legend Series commissions are: “Where modern engineering and heritage meet.”

Originally built in 1979, this Scout has been thoughtfully restored from the ground up, preserving its unmistakable character while elevating every aspect of the driving experience. Finished in a New Legend Custom Mix, dubbed Motz Green, this blue-green hue is a take on the modern blues you see on the road today. The body is paired with our signature Crème Brûlée hardtop, original Scout decal in a shadow finish, gunmetal grey wheels, and subtle black accents. The result of these pairings is an unmistakable Legend, a restoration that feels equally at home on or off the road.

Sitting underneath the meticulously restored original sheet metal is the foundation that defines every Legend Series restoration: our proprietary Outrider Chassis. Sat within the chassis is a new 455hp 6.2L LT1 engine paired with a manual NV4500 transmission. Developed through years of engineering, refinement, and tens of thousands of test miles, the Outrider transforms the Scout into a vehicle that inspires confidence on every drive. Modern suspension geometry, precision steering, and refined road manners combine to create a modern driving experience for the Scout. It’s the reason so many enthusiasts describe our Scouts as the best driving vintage 4x4s on Earth.

Built with exploration in mind, LII–Sixteen sports our Adventure Trim which includes our Workman front & rear bumpers, fender flares, roof rack, light bar, winch, and integrated air compressor. Every component serves a purpose, reinforcing our belief that the best restorations are as functional as they are beautiful.

On the inside, a premium brown leather, with a warm tone, wraps our standard Legend Series seats. These Scheel-Mann seats masterfully reupholstered and feature both heating and cooling to ensure driver comfort while on the road. Every surface has been considered, every material selected to age gracefully alongside the vehicle itself. Rather than competing with the Scout’s heritage, the interior complements it.

The Legend Series represents the highest expression of what we build at New Legend 4×4. LII–Sixteen is more than a restoration, it is a continuation of the Scout’s legacy, built for those who believe the greatest adventure is keeping the Scout’s legacy alive.
